Very Dear All,
Two events were initiated and celebrated by the Foundation “Milk for Schools. Milk for Health”:
1. At the Warsaw University of Life Sciences campus (former Agric. Univ.) during 14-15 May 2010 with the help of Dairy Plant from Garwolin many visitors attended the stand, where several milk products (some free of charge) were offered.
Discussions or conversations took place on milk production and consumption in our country.
Several members (incl. President and Council Chairman) of the Foundation were attending this event explaining the importance of milk products in our economy and nutritional impact on the health esp. for young sector of our populations.
2. “Milk Review” was organized in the Gastronomic Schools in Bydgoszcz town for the third class pupils (75) showing this commodity and products based on milk.
The youth answered the question: “Why milk?” and prof. R. Cichon (member of our Foundation Council) delivered the speech: “Milk and milk products in human nutrition and dietetics”.
Some discussion took place on several issues related to the world milk problems today.
